Tim Kring talks to The Star about whats to come for Heroes season three!
1) It is all about family and Season 3 is about the "dysfunction" of family, which will be explored with both the Bennett and Petrelli families being pulled in different ways.
2) Once we realize we have Sylar figured out he will change again.
3) With Mohinder gaining powers, some one else will have to step into his role as "non-powered human" and will play the "outsider" role.
4) Person who will take Mohinder's "outsider" role is some one we have seen before.
"The second volume of the show was called `Generations,' and explored the idea that there was a whole series of people who came before our characters. It's basically the idea of the sins of the parents being visited upon their children."We will see that some of those people survive in very interesting and curious ways in Volume 3. There's still some remnants of that previous generation.
The truth is, it's all about family, and at the core of this particular volume we're exploring the nature of dysfunction among family.""There are two families that are at the core of this show, the Bennett family and the Petrelli family. And both of them will be tested and tugged in ways that you haven't seen so far."One final Kring spoiler: Big changes in the works for Sylar and Suresh. "With Sylar," he says, "just when you think that you have figured out his role for the rest of the series, he'll change again and, you know, we'll reinvent where that character is."Same for Suresh, now suddenly revealed to be as super as the heroes he's been studying. Which leaves the role of non-powered human observer pretty much up for grabs. "Somebody needs to be able to play the role of the outsider on this show," Kring agrees. "I would just sort of say, `Stay tuned' to see who that is. It will be someone you already know."
