Episode 4x12 "The Double Trouble in the Panhandle"

BOOTH AND BRENNAN INFILTRATE THE BIG TOP AS THEY INVESTIGATE THE DEATHS OF TWO CIRCUS PERFORMERSON THE TIME PERIOD PREMIERE OF “BONES” THURSDAY, JANUARY 15, ON FOX

Andy Richter Guest-Stars

Booth and Brennan investigate the remains of conjoined twins found in a shallow grave in a remote desert area on the Texas-Oklahoma border.

Back at the lab, the team determines the skeletal remains to be those of Jenny and Julie, who were jugglers in a traveling circus. Knowing there is no way the circus folk will talk to anyone outside their tight-knit clan, Brennan and Booth must infiltrate the circus community in order to find out more information about the twins’ deaths. Honing Booth’s Ranger knife-throwing skills, the duo goes undercover as knife-throwing act “Buck and Wanda Moosejaw.” As they encounter a variety of suspects among the colorful circus crowd, including ringmaster Henry Simon (guest star Andy Richter), a rather raucous clan of clowns and a tempestuous strong man who may have been romantically involved with one of the twins, Booth and Brennan find the circus experience to be quite the spectacle in the “Double Trouble in the Panhandle” episode of BONES airing Thursday, Jan. 15 (8:00-9:00 PMET/PT) on FOX.

1. Jack and Ben are right where we left them last Spring, in the funeral parlour with Locke, and this season's action will start there.

2. Several important questions will be answered right off the bat, including why the Oceanic 6 must return to the Island, exactly what happened when Ben moved the Island and what Sun meant when she said that she and Widmore had common interests.

3. Remember The Arrow Station, where the tail section survivors hid from the Others back in year 3? We will revisit it and be informed of its very interesting purpose pretty early on in the premiere.

4. At least three people will be killed in the first act.

5. Sayid and Ben seem to be on especially bad terms.

6. Several characters who we've watched die will make return appearances.

New House Promo!

Prison Break to Continue?

Nick Santora hints that the writers would stay around as long as the network asks, even though everyone says that Prison Break Season 4 will be the last.

"We will continue to make PB for as long as the network asks us to," Nick writes on PBreakFans. "But if we are not asked back for a 5th season or a 6th or whatever, that would be the end of the road. But we, as writer/producers, don't worry about that stuff - we make as good a show as we can and see what happens. The network has been great to us and they are our partners in the show - we will work hard for them and give them a show we hope they are proud of and see what happens. That's the way it is on every show. You put it on the air and hope for the best."

LOST Scoop!

American Idol Scoop!

Here:

SPOILERS!

E. Dyson in Kansas City, Mo.: I was watching the Terminator midseason finale, and the promo for next year's episodes suggests that they might be bringing Kyle Reese back as a regular or recurring character. Do you know for sure?

I'm told that Jonathan Jackson's Kyle Reese has a "strong presence" in the spring premiere on Fri., Feb. 14, but for the time being, he's not meant to be a regular character.

Seth in Capitan, N.M.: Any word on the premiere of Battlestar Galactica?

In honor of the return of Battlestar Galactica, NBC is having a live and online auction of props and costumes from the show running Jan. 16-18 at the Pasadena Convention Center. Bid on items that will let you dress up as a Six, get drunk with Colonel Tigh's flask or read from Elosha's Scroll. (P.S. If you haven't seen it yet, don't forget to check out the newest webisode.)

Megan: As happy as I am that Cuddy got her Christmas miracle baby, I still want to see some Huddy love. Please tell me that this baby doesn't mean the end for my favorite TV couple.

This baby doesn't mean the end for your favorite TV couple, but the next episode has minimal Huddy, since both of them spend most of the episode at their respective houses: Cuddy's preparing for a social worker who's checking on the baby's welfare, and House is dealing with a plumbing problem. That's not a euphemism though. The man's got problems with his pipes!

Mary in Epping, N.H.: Any dish on Foreteen? They're really growing on me.

The final scene of the next episode is Foreteen-centric, and it will knock you back on your heels. After you gasp, you'll spend the rest of the night tying yourself into ethical knots. It's a very nicely developed plot twist, and it adds a layer to Foreteen that gets them up to Sixteen or Seventeen at least! Let's just say that Foreman has to make a choice that will either jeopardize his career or her life/health, so it ain't sweet and simple.

Rebel in Los Angeles: We're having a bit of controversy over here at the Sylar's Army board. We're hoping you can clarify something: When you wrote Sylar goes on a quest for his powers did you mean parents?
I believe he lost his powers due to the shard in his head. Others don't or don't want to believe it. Please let us know one way or the other.
Parents! I meant Sylar goes on a quest for his parents! Darn. Sorry about that, guys. He did lose his powers, but we won't be stuck with a powerless Sylar forever. Before Vol. IV: Fugitives goes on too long, Sylar will be back to his usual telekinetic self.

Anna in Cape Girardeau, Mo.: Will we ever see Cherry again on Sons of Anarchy?

Taryn Manning just told me, "I have been asked to return, but we're just in negotiations and talk right now. I have all kinds of other movie stuff going on, so I am undecided." But don't worry, she loved SOA like a fan: "It's the best show ever."

Kelly in Albany, N.Y.: I am dying to hear some news about Bones! When are we going to see something steamy going on with Booth and Brennan!?

When the show returns on Jan. 15, Booth and Bones will go undercover as married couple Buck and Wanda in the circus after Siamese twins show up dead. Since they have to make everything convincing, the pair will share a bed in their trailer. All I can say is when the trailer's a rockin', don't come a knockin'. And trust me, it will be a rockin'!

Mel in Cincinnati: True Blood!

How about a True Blood-Sons of Anarchy crossover? (Wouldn't that be something?) OK, how about the next best thing: Michael Raymond-James (aka Rene the killer from True Blood) will be guesting as a '70s-era thug from a motorcycle gang on an upcoming episode of Cold Case.

Kathleen in Covington, Ky.: I'm totally digging Leverage. It's got that great Ocean's Eleven caper feel to it. Any news on the show?

In attempts to save a church, the gang makes a miracle happen. Bad news, the Vatican shows up so things get blown a little out of proportion.

New Dollhouse Scoop!

Spoiler Vid!

SPOILERS!

The first half of this season's Supernatural has pretty much been The Dean Winchester & Castiel Show featuring guest appearances by Jared Padalecki's Sam. Is this a trend that you see continuing? — Eric

MATT: I know, people are still smarting from "In the Beginning," right? This I can tell you: When the season resumes on Jan. 15, the first two episodes are equal parts Dean and Sam (with the first entry being gloriously dark and scary). But what Jared fans should most look forward is the third outing, "After School Special," in which both teen and modern-day Sam experience much emotional upheaval.

Is there anything in the Smallville episode "Hex" that furthers the Clark-Lois relationship? — Trisha

MATT: It's fair to say there's a little something for every fan base in this season's 17th outing, in which a truly magical magician fulfills Chloe's wish to have Lois' "easy" life ... by transplanting her into her cousin's body. While my frenemy already teased a "longing look" between Clark and "Lois" — and Erica Durance's admirers can obviously count on seeing gobs of their fave actress — Chloe fans should be very pleased with an epiphany their girl reaches at episode's end. By the way, you know Clark gets a wish granted as well, right?

I'm loving the new TNT show Leverage. It seems like Nate and Sophie have a romantic history. Any episode where we find out if there's still a spark? — Maya

TIM: Can you wait to see for yourself on Tuesday at 10 pm? Because in the very next episode, "The Miracle Job," Nate and Sophie take a second to reminisce about the past — and consider whether they have a future. Sophie seems open, but makes it clear she won't wait forever for Nate to make up his mind.

I'm dying to know if there is any chance that we will see Adam Monroe again on Heroes? — Stacie

MATT: In the spirit of giving, Stacie, I made a valiant last bid to secure you a status report. Alas, a source confirms for me that David Anders' character "is as dead as dead can be." That's right — even given the very fluid afterlife of Heroes, there are no signs that Anders will be back.
