What makes "House" different than other projects she's worked on?“Every week that we sit down to do a script reading, I am energized. This is a show with fantastic writers. And it’s amazing. Having been around for long enough to know the difference, it’s a really extraordinary experience, when each week, you have a great time reading the script and that you’re excited to see what happens to your character and to everybody else’s and when you want to know the end to the medical story. You know what I mean? That, to me, is exciting.”

Do your fans want House and Cuddy to hook up?(Lisa Edelstein) “Whenever I date somebody, that person gets -- he gets hate mail from fans that are angry I’m not dating Hugh, even though Hugh is married with a litany of children. Quite a litter. He’s got a litter. Three, I would say, is. (Hugh Laurie) It’s a litter.”

Cruel as he can be, House never wants to see his co-workers fail. Could his sadistic streak really be his way of showing "tough love"?“That’s a very good point, actually. For all his enormous cruelty that he’s shown in all sorts of situations, you’re absolutely right, he’s never -- He’s wanted to test people and put people in very difficult situations, but he’s never actually wanted people to fail. I think that’s true. Maybe he’s a big, old softie, who wants nothing but the best for his children.”
