LOST Scoop and Review!

WHAT'S TO COME

"According to my sources, our Claire-bear (Emilie de Ravin) will not be a regular in season five, but rather she will be on a "holding contract." However, after her sojourn in the underworld, or wherever she is, she will return to us for season six.

And, of course, next season is largely about the who, what, when, where, why and how of getting back to the Island, and season six is about what happens when everybody finally returns and reunites."

Read on to see what else Kristen has to say about last night's mega finale:

Stargate Atlantis Episode Details!

Episode 5x15 "Outsiders"

In the wake of Michael's use of the Hoffan drug to taint the Wraith's food supply ("The Kindred"), Dr. Carson Beckett and the Atlantis expedition have resettled the Balarans, a group of human survivors, on another populated world. The locals have welcomed these "outsiders," including a woman named Novo and a man named Sefaris, with open arms. Some of them have become like family. But now the Wraith are coming for them. These men and women have been made immune to Wraith feeding by the drug, but they are also a threat. Any Wraith who tries to feed on them will be instantly killed ("Poisoning the Well").

Elson, Jervis, Renni, and the other councilors who serve as village leaders debate the fate of the outsiders. If they do not surrender the people they have given shelter, their entire village is at risk of destruction. Colonel Sheppard enters the council chamber as they are considering the problem, and offers them another option: Rather than hand over their guests, his team can help resettle everyone on another world, in relative safety from the Wraith -- more than 600 people.

Convinced that the Wraith might kill them either way, Elson agrees to the evacuation. A small contingent of Wraith guard the gate, and Sheppard's team prepares to attack them. In the window of time before the Wraith hive ship arrives, they believe they will be able to get everyone through the Stargate. But it may be easier said than done -- and not everyone on the planet wants to leave their home. With the lives of two peoples at stake, the Atlantis team may find that they are the real outsiders.Guest characters include Carson Beckett (Paul McGillion), Novo, Sefaris, Elson, Jervis, Renni, several Wraith, and guards.Learn more about the new season of Atlantis in GateWorld's episode guide! Season Five premieres July 11 on SCI FI Channel in the United States.

Tons More LOST Finale Sneak Peeks!

SPOILERS!

Latest scoop from TV Guide's Ausiello:

Question: OK, Ausiello, get me psyched for the Lost two-hour finale on Thursday! — Al
Ausiello: The significant death I hinted in the last AA? It's for sure an original cast member. This just in: Better make that (gulp) three original cast members. That's right, per my Lost mole, a trio of island vets won't survive tomorrow's finale. Crikey!

Question: How about throwing me a bone about Heroes? — Dee
Ausiello: Casting scoop! Sources confirm to me exclusively that Jessalyn Gilsig is reprising her role as Claire's white-trash mom for five episodes next season.

Question: You cannot be serious with this Dream Emmy Ballot. Matthew Fox over Michael Emerson? Puh-leeze! Michael Emerson buries Matthew Fox every single week. It's downright insulting. In order to make it up to me, you must provide some Lost poop, pronto! — Kim
Ausiello: We'll find out how Ben turned up in the Tunisia desert in "Shape of Things to Come." And for your information, Michael Emerson entered himself in the supporting actor slot, so he isn't even competing against Matthew Fox. You should be directing your anger at one of these guys: Ted Danson, Matthew Rhys, John Slattery, Donald Sutherland and Michael K. Williams.

Question: Thank you so much for the reassuring scoop about Jensen Ackles' return to Supernatural (as if any of us ever doubted it, come on!). But what I'm worried about is how much Dean is going to change. — Meredith
Ausiello: Yeah, well, can't help you there. Dean is going to change. Big time.

Question: Mike, you've missed some serious Moonlight grieving, especially from me. Please tell me there is some truth to the rumors that the Sci Fi channel may be interested in picking up Moonlight. — Jenny
Ausiello: It's half true. Sci Fi passed on picking up new episodes, but there's still a chance it could air existing episodes. Short story shorter: Keep fighting!

New LOST Finale Promo!

LOST Interview!

Latest interview with actress Yunjin Kim who plays Sun on LOST:

1) What do you find the most challenging aspect of performing the flash-forward scenes?
The most challenging aspect is not knowing the whole storyline. I'm left to fill in a lot of blanks. For example, what happened to Sun when she finally returned to Korea? We know she delivered her baby, Ji Yeon, but how did she find out her father, Mr. Paik, is seemingly connected to the Hanso Foundation? And there so many more ... I'm left guessing a lot of these things on my own and hope for the best.

2) Can you offer some teasers/hints about the Oceanic 6's great escape?
Without giving too much away ... I have to say the Oceanic 6's great escape feels like it was inevitable. A lot of events occurred, some heroic sacrifices, fortunate accidents, fate, but most importantly, love saved them.

3) If you could ask the writers for one thing in Season 5 for your character, what would it be?
For Sun to turn into an assassin and join Sayid for revenge.

Vincent also has a hard time around Cam because he makes lame jokes and uses familiar terms that will not please Brennan. At first, the team believes the body is that of a female, 40-year-old Patricia Ludmuller. Further investigation proves that Patricia was born a male. More Scoop Behind Bones' Finale!

Stargate Atlantis Episode Details!

Episode 5x12 "Inquisition"

The episode was written by newcomer Alex Levine, who works as the show's script coordinator.Atlantis is introduced to a group trying to form a coalition of humans from many different worlds against the Wraith. They have asked specifically for John Sheppard and his team -- who have gained a bit of notoriety in the Pegasus Galaxy over the past few years -- to visit one of their worlds. Among the representative leaders is Kelore of Latira, Shiana of the Tribes of Santhal, and Dimas of the Free Peoples of Riva.

But soon after the team arrives, they find that they have not been asked there to join the alliance. Instead, the Coalition has other plans for the team: they are to stand trial for the Atlantis expedition's crimes against the Pegasus Galaxy. Sheppard is made to explain things such as the existence of Michael, a sort of Wraith-human hybrid ("Michael"), and the catastrophic Hoffan plague that recently swept through the galaxy ("The Kindred").Major Lorne and his team escort a Coalition representative, Myrus, through the gate to meet with Mr. Woolsey in Atlantis.

He explains the situation, arguing that Atlantis has been making unilateral decisions in the war against the Wraith that affect the lives of countless millions on many worlds. The Coalition intends to institute accountability and due process. Finally, Woolsey decides to travel to the Coaltion planet himself, and put his diplomatic skills to use: He will be taking over the team's public defense. But the ethical arguments and political twists have only just begun -- and nothing less than the future of the expedition is at stake.Guest characters include Lorne, Dimas, Shiana, Kelore, Myrus, and a villager.

Stargate in Vegas?

Inside Bones' Shocker Ending!

Here:

SPOILERS!!

Latest from Kristen @ E!

Marcus in New York: Will everyone be back on Lost next year?

No, they won't. Obviously I can't spoil who, but I will give you a few more details in the spoiler section, if you keep reading.

Lindsay in Atlanta: I am a little miffed at you, Mrs. Dos Santos. When it comes to TV watching, you are my go-to girl. If you tell me to watch it, I do. So, I'm miffed that now that Moonlight is gone, and I'm hooked. You have given us nothing to sooth our broken hearts. Where is your gritty (but always polite) interview with those evil CBS bosses? Give us something please!

I did talk to CBS president Nina Tassler last week at the CBS upfront about the cancellation of Moonlight, a show so many fans loved passionately, and she defended the decision, saying, "Once we got back up on the air it was about the numbers and the ratings, and we were just struggling a little bit. I loved the show. I personally love the show. I love working with Alex O'Loughlin and Joel Silver, and I just think we had to make some very tough decisions. It was hard." Not half as hard as it is for the fans who went to great lengths to save this series, Nina! Just sayin'! I'm also working on getting an exit interview with one of the stars or producers for later this week, so stand by.

Kayla in Albany, Ore.: I am freaking out. Can you please verify that Eric Kripke was kidding around about Jensen Ackles leaving Supernatural and being replaced with Chad Michael Murray? I love Supernatural with every fiber of my being, and I don't want to see it in the fall without Jensen!

He was totally kidding. Our beloved Jensen will definitely be back on Supernatural. CMM will be thousands of miles away in North Carolina. Promise.

Sam in Tel Aviv, Israel: Is Laura Vandervoort really out of Smallville next season, or is it still up in the air? I really like her, and they could have done so much more with her!

I'm told she isn't going to be a regular, but they're hoping she'll be able to return and guest star in an episode or two. Meanwhile, if you're a Laura Vandervoort fan, hang in there for Into the Blue 2. Audrina from The Hills, who has a small part in the movie, is getting all the press, but Laura's the lead!

Malik in Bangkok: I love Lost! Is anyone going to die in the season finale?

I can tell you that a series regular who has been on the series since the first season will not be back next season (season five). According to inside sources, this person's contract has been put into a holding deal and the plan at this point is to have him or her return for season six. Guesses? (OK, I'll spare you the frantic emails: It is not Jack or Sawyer. It's a she.)

Wendell in Santa Fe, N.M.: Lost, girl! Spill! What can you tell me about the very end of this season?

Remember how I told you that time traveling and teleporting is most definitely happening?(Duh) Well, let's just say that it's going to be happening on a much larger scale in the coming seasons. And if I tell you any more about that twist, I will break the heart of this sweet guy who's name rhymes with "Hey, mon" and karma will see to it that I return in the next life as grasshopper poo.

Yessie in New Orleans: Heroes! Give me something!

Gladly! I will give you a bevy of video interviews with our favorites (Masi, Milo, Zach, Adrian, Sendhil, etc.) this week for a Heroes Week extravaganza, so keep checking back. In the meantime, I can tell you this doozy of a spoiler: Sylar slices open the head of the person you may consider the show's biggest star! That happens within the first two episodes and we also learn exactly what he does once Sy-baby pops the lid on our heroic pals, so let's just say that there is plenty to look forward to early on in season three. They are putting some big plot points and answers in motion, from what I hear.

Blaire in Birmingham, Ala.: Do you have any Bones scoop on the season finale or season four? Please tell me Booth is OK!

Booth is OK. As for season four, according to Emily Deschanel, as far as she knows the season premiere is just going to be Booth and Bones together in London, with the squints back at the Jeffersonian doing research.

Rachel in Arkansas.: Funny story. I'm sitting here in NYC at the Mansfield Hotel guest computer, and I think I stumbled upon an article you wrote about the ABC upfronts last week. Someone saved it on the desktop! I was hoping to find some superspecial inside scoop in there that didn't make the editorial cut, but no dice. Anyhoo—got any scoop on my boy Chuck? Are he and Sarah going to be hookin' it up anytime soon?

LOL. Yes! That's where I stayed last week. It's cute, no? Next time I'll plant some secrets there for you. As for Chuck, Yvonne (Sarah) told me that she's quitting the Weinerlicious and will be working somewhere else with an even better outfit! So clearly, it's just a matter of time before Chuck sticks his wi...er...willing hands lovingly on the small of her back and whisks her away for a tango. (Hee.)

Erika in Mexico City, Mexico: ¡Saludos! Please, I need some Chuck news! Do you have any scoop of the new season?

James Bond is joining the cast! OK, not really, but the series will be bringing in a debonair former spy to tutor Chuck in the ways of high-stakes espionage. Post your dream casting in the comments below.

SunB: I can't wait for the return of Prison Break! When can I expect to see the new season? Also...maybe some scoop?

The new season of Prison Break is back Aug. 25, and they're introducing a new nerdy hacker character named Roland Glenn to join the boys for at least six episodes to help them fight the Company. He's a talker, this one, and his big fat mouth is going to get him into trouble…Also, Sara's back! I know you know. I'm just excited is all.

Jake in San Diego: Any scoop on Doomsday from Smallville?

Looks like Davis Bloome aka Doomsday is forming quite an interesting relationship with one Miss Lois Lane! Sources tell me the first time we meet Davis is when he is attempting to pick up Lois at Ace of Clubs. Still, don't expect things to get too steamy between the couple—I'm also hearing that Davis Bloome is something of a Jekyll and Hyde.

Tanya in Kalamazoo, Mich.: Give me some Clois scoop, please!

Could it finally be happening now that Lana is out of the picture?! I'm hearing that during a conversation Lois admits that she is constantly thinking about a man who is described as "confusing, mysterious and oddly sexy." Huh! I don't know about you, but those words definitely scream Clark Kent to me!
