In next week's episode "Heaven and Hell," Castiel and Uriel are on a mission from God.

The second half of the two-parter is called, appropriately, "Heaven and Hell." In it, "we bring to a head the fact that they've got these two different factions on their ass, and how do they get out with their lives?" Kripke said. Also, "we finally do reveal exactly what happened to Dean in hell." Kripke wrote the episode based on a story by Trevor Sands. J. Miller Tobin directed.

Unfortunately, the two-parter will have to hold us over for the holidays. New episodes won't return until January. Supernatural airs on The CW on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
