SPOILERS!

When is the ‘24‘ premiere going to be on? – frednow via Twitter
Jack Bauer’s next very bad day kicks off with a two-night, four-hour premiere on Sunday, January 17 (a rare occasion where Fox takes programming into the 10 o’clock hour). I’ve screened the opener, and it is sure is good to have Jack back. In the first hour alone, there are upwards of 10 deaths, one big explodey thing, and the introduction of at least four possible treasonous moles. The only Debby Downer is that poor Chloe gets repeatedly schooled by new CTU computer wonk Katee Sackhoff – though I suppose you could ask for a worse girl fight.

Your buddy Sarah Brown (’The Bold and the Beautiful‘) Tweeted that she’s shooting an episode of ‘Castle‘ this week. Any details? – Carrie
Sarah herself thus far has been mum, but this much I have dug up: She’s playing a very eligible bachelorette whom Castle takes on a date… at the same restaurant where Beckett is on a date of her own. Awk. Ward.

Do you have any scoop on what Clark will be up to in ‘Smallville’s‘ “Absolute Justice” movie? – Michelle
Among other things, he’ll be leaving a certain Justice Society member rather star-struck. Guest star Britt Irvin tells me that Stargirl “has a special connection with Clark, because he reminds her a lot of her mentor.” (Irvin would not divulge the name of said mentor, but hinted that we’ll see him in the February 5 movie.) Also making the acrobatic superheroin “flip” for Smallville’s finest is that none-too-small fact that “she knows he’s very important for mankind.” Ya think?

Do you know if this is going be the last season of ‘Heroes’? – Robert
With seven hours left to air (starting January 5), I do not know for certain, nor does series creator Tim Kring. That said, Kring told me he’s hoping for the best by teeing up Volume 6 at the end of the February 8 season finale. Its title? “I haven’t decided whether I should reveal it or not,” Kring hedged. “Maybe I shouldn’t.” Ah, shark farts.

Would you have any idea why Sendhil Ramamurthy was dropped from the pilot he was about to star in? Does this mean he will have an increased presence on ‘Heroes’? – Sue
Tim Kring told me that Sendhil’s ‘Heroes’ commitment “had no bearing” on his being replaced with Jerry O’Connell in the NBC pilot ‘Rex Is Not Your Lawyer.’ Now if you’re among those wanting mo’ ‘hinder, you’re in luck, since Ramamurthy has wrapped production on the film that kept him away from ‘Heroes’ at the start of this season. Says Kring, “We were not able to use Sendhil nearly as much as we would have wanted to.”

(Glee) Wouldn’t it be a Ryan Murphy-esque twist if Idina Menzel were the Vocal Adrenaline director and Rachel’s mother? – GiantAsianMan via Twitter
That is the dream, yes. And wouldn’t it make for a swell season-ending tag?

Wasn’t it reported that Kristin Chenoweth was coming back for at least one episode during ‘Glee’s’ second half? ‘Wicked’ reunion, it is! – Rissberries via Twitter
That is also the dream, though Menzel, it must be noted, has not yet signed on the dotted line. Cheno’s return, FYI, comes early during the “back nine,” air date TBD.

Any scoop on ‘Lie To Me‘ for the second half of Season 2? – Mary
Lightman will be tasked with getting critical information out of a cop who, because of a gunshot wound, cannot move, speak or even blink. Also, we will meet Torres’ kid sister when a dead body turns up in the boiler room of the juvie hall where’s she’s being held. (The Torres kids had a very rough upbringing, you will learn.)
