While the slowness of summer television begins to set in, let me make my first book recommendation (yes I do read, try not to faint) to help pass the time. For anyone who enjoys stories of the supernatural as I do, the "Dark-Hunter series" is what I've only recently discovered and am reading through quite rapidly.
