After an exhaustive search, the hit CW show has cast Matt Davis to play history teacher Alaric
Saltzman, a fan favorite from the books on which the series is based. Davis will debut on the November 12 episode. Asked what he was looking for in casting the role, executive producer Kevin Williamson told me a guy who is "hot." He delivered.
You may remember hunky 31-year-old Matt from his roles on ABC's What About Brian and as Reese Witherspoon's beau, Warner, in "Legally Blonde."
