ABC sucks...how dare they cut off the show...how dare the writers end the show like that!!
That ending is impossible. This sucks so bad. I still cannot believe that stupid ending
what happens now... the ending was so stupid unless they are planning on bringing it back. It didn't really end.
It really is a ridiculous way to end a series!!! I was so eager for the conclusion. Its a show that my family just started watching recently and we love it.I really hope they plan to bring it back or at least finish it up properly!!!!!Very frustrating!!!!!
yeah for real i honestly thought the fianle ending sucked majorly ive watched kyle xy since it first came on and i have never been so disappointed as I am now

I agree with everyone. My bro and I just finished watching the finally and it just pissed me off. I am about ready to screw TV altogether. It has finally rotted any remaining brain cells I have.

Absolutely unbelievable. It's bad enough that ABC Family didn't even do a pretense of a wrap-up - but they ADVERTISED THE FINALE AS IF IT WRAPPED UP EVERYTHING! It's completely insulting and disgusting and I will never watch another show on this horrible channel ever again. In fact, I think I'll contact their advertisers and inform them that all the blogs and comments I've read show that people are boiling mad and saying they're going to boycott ABC Family. Because apparently money is all they care about, so hit them where it hurts.
that ending made me want to run to the closest living thing and kill it. to bad the guy that wrote this ending was not close by
Why should anyone ever watch another ABC Family show? If they're going to simply end things mid-story then why start another show, just to get screwed in the end?
It seems to me that they have left the door wide open for a Kyle spin-off. Maybe Kyle vs secret evil orgainizations of the world

Believe me, I am just as pissed as everyone else. But, what if the season was already filmed when they found out the show was going to be cancelled? Maybe the writers were just going along with the story as if there would be another season. If they didn't know the show was going to be cancelled, then the finale would have only been a season finale and it would have picked up where it left off, not just cut off leaving viewers with no answers.
I hope that's what happened...
I'm glad I found this thread because I was so confused. I thought it was supposed to be 2 hours long and I missed the second half.
There was no wrap-up to anything. Not even like in a normal episode. It all just left you hanging - which would be fine if there was a second part - but like this? It's just weird.
Maybe it will get picked up by a different network like Buffy or Stargate. Who knows. It's just wierd.

On January 12, 2009 Kyle XY started its 3rd season. On January 31, 2009, ABC Family announced that Kyle XY would not return for a fourth season. Which means ABC Family had TONS of time to make the series finale AMAZING but...NO. they went and left a million cliff hangers and thousands of people pissed off. I hope it gets picked up by another network....maybe even NBC they have good shows like Heroes and Chuck, ABC Family has shit all now........ABC Family I hope you het put off the air for good!

I hated that finale worse than any other I've seen with my favorite shows, too. So many of my favorite shows have been canceled Emmy's, etc. One of the commentors said they were about done with TV, and I am with them. I've decided to only watch those I'm already into until they are done and I'm not going to start watching anything new. i'll wean myself off stupid TV and find more valuable things to do with my time. I hope everyone starts doing this so the networks realize that fan loyalty is their bread and butter. Series like Star Trek prove you have to go the distance with fans; they'll return the favor. Anyway, that finale sucked tonight, and I'm with everybody else complaining. GRRRRRR!!!!

I wasn't watching the clock and was waiting for the commercial to end and then came the credits!!! WHAT????!!!!! They didn't even tie this up as well as a regular episode, let alone a season... LET ALONE A SERIES!!!
This was an insult to the millions of viewers. I get it that this is all a numbers game and that these decisions are made at a level WAAAAY away from what the viewers WANT. But what a slap in the face that this would be marketed as a finale.
I enjoy 'smart' entertainment, I enjoy creativity, innovation, and even for those stories that are not exactly original, I don't mind so long as they are well-done. I most especially appreciate it when they exhibit good values.
Come on, ABC... look UP to see your viewers... they're searching for QUALITY entertainment... don't talk down to us or as in this case, insult us! Go ahead... market the pregnant teenager... but I'M NOT BUYING!!!

a pity- Kyle XY was a good original show- and like a lot of good original shows, the big suits don't have a clue so they replace it with some dorky sitcom or reality crap. Then they wonder why people stop watching their channel. This is bullshit. Bring back Kyle XY!

Its obvious that ABC Family didn't order a series finale episode. ABC Family ordered only 10 episodes for the 3rd season. What we saw was the tenth (last) episode for season 3 and the writers didn't know the series was going to be cancelled. This episode was likely filmed after the cancellation announcement. I'm sure they were expecting a 4th season.
Not ordering a series finale shows you how much ABC Family cares about their viewers. Like someone previously mentioned, it's all about money, they could care less about their viewers.
I have locked out the ABC Family channel on my cablebox and will never ever ever see anything on this channel again. Maybe I should lock out ABC too since I don't watch anything on ABC.
I really hope another channel picks up Kyle XY.

Guys it's not the writers fault for how it ended. This season probably finished shooting at the end of last year, which means that they ended this season like it did because they though they were safe from being cancelled. It was only last month that ABCfamily announced the cancelation of Kyle XY, so the crew didn't have time to film a proper ending. Blame it all on ABCfamily who doesn't know the meaning of fan loyalty. About all you could do to save the show now is send emails or post comments on ABCfamily's website. But one thing that will surely make them take notice and rethink the cancelation is for everyone to go out and buy Kyle XY on DVD right now, cause to the network money talks.
I wonder what the chances are of ABC Family doing a two hour movie to tie up loose ends?

OK, first of all, ABC couldn't care less what we all think. It all boils down to $$$$$$$$. Not enough viewers, not enough advertisers paying out bucks and therefore not enough $$$$$$$$ being made. As for the ending, those of you having a cow about this, ABC did leave an open-ending, which would allow the show to return someday.
Well, recently a number of ABC shows caught my attention, and I got into them. But almost all of them have been canceled, except Lost. Pushing Daisies is the only show to make me laugh hard every episode. It also made me think and enjoy the alliteration. But it's canceled. Eli Stone made me think of higher values and making a difference--canceled. Kyle XY on ABC Family made me enjoy sci-fi--canceled. Searching the Internet, it seems most of the cancellations are from ABC, so they must be losing money and have no decent plan. but I have one: I'm not going to watch any more new ABC shows since they are just going to cancel them first chance they get and leave us with terrible last episodes like with Kyle XY. I'm done with ABC. I'll stick with more stable networks!

This show is excellent.I recently had the chance to watch the pilot for Kyle XY TV Show, and to my surprise, I enjoyed it very much.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that for the most part, the show is interesting.It is superbly cast.Kyle XY Episodes is a fun and interesting show.This show is a great show filled with suspense, drama and everything in between.
I enjoyed the first two seasons but the third season is terrible I can't watch much more. Glad to know that it is cancelled because if the writing remains as bad as the first three episodes of season 3 then it is time to put it to rest. They ran out of creativity after season one really but I was hoping season 2 was setting something up but season three is just plain terrible television.
