Main plot details for this seasons' Torchwood

Episode one is about the team becoming suddenly fragmented
Episode two is much more of a spy thriller as they go their seperate ways
Episode three introduces the alien threat in a big way
Episode four is a huge political drama about the wider repercussions
Episode five of course as everything and is a race to save humanity"

-A major explosion takes place in or near the Hub by the end of episode 1
-More secrets about Jack's dark past will be revealed.
-A major crisis for Gwen and Rhys emerges
-There will be a lot more Ianto backstory and an exploration of his family
-The love story between Jack and Ianto will continue to unfold
-Rhys almost becomes a fourth member of the team
-We see the return of PC Andy.
-The new enemy are called the 4-5-6, based on the name of the radio wavelength that the aliens first use to contact Earth. We won't see the whole of the aliens for either most or all of the series.
-It appears that the character of Johnson is trying to kill or injure the Torchwood team
-The start of the series will show Jack, Gwen and Ianto working with their numbers depleted
-The team dynamic will change in several ways
-Each member of the team will have to make a personal or professional sacrifice
-There will be 'red herrings' when it comes to the new team members (Julie)
-A few scenes have been filmed in London rumours that Martha and Mickey will appear in episodes 4 and 5
-There could be flashback scenes with Owen and Tosh
-A major scene takes place between two of the principal characters on the side of a mountain.
-Filming scenes + a scene has been filmed where Rhys steals a laptop from a car, whilst Gwen distracts a woman
-Another scene has been filmed where Ianto and Rhys fake a fight near a cafe, whilst Gwen steals a laptop/briefcase
-Ianto then pretends to be a waiter and steals a credit card. A casually dressed Jack also appears to do some stealing.
-Gwen has been seen 'interviewing' a young male Doctor by the name of Rupesh, who already appears to be partially aware of Torchwood. Jack and Ianto are seen talking to Rupesh outside a hospital during episode 1 before getting into the SUV. This character is apparently killed off after the Hub explosion.
-There's a scene where Jack and Ianto are 'gagging for it' but the pressence of a third male prevents them from actually going any further.
