Did I miss the scene in Season 1 where Jason is promoted to soldier, or are they just introducing that right at the start of this episode? I'm assuming the latter. In any case, I'm a reader of the books and I have a feeling the sleek European Hotel desk clerk is a shape shifter.
I'm assuming by 'soldier' that they mean he will be working for the Fellowship of the Sun, possibly even as a slayer for vamps in Season 2.
Good thought about the desk clerk.
