With one person dead, Matt (Greg Grunberg) enlists some unlikely help as the attacks continue on people with abilities. Claire’s (Hayden Panettiere) efforts to hide her healing abilities at her new California high school are jeopardized by a fellow student with a secret of his own. Niki (Ali Larter) and Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey) leave Las Vegas in an attempt to start over. As part of his new job, Dr. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) must track down The Haitian (guest star Jimmy Jean-Louis).

While crossing into Mexico, Maya (Dania Ramirez) and Alejandro’s (Shalim Ortiz) abilities prove to be a threat to those around them. Meanwhile, disappointed by his hero Kensei (David Anders), Hiro (Masi Oka) resolves to rectify any damage his presence in feudal Japan has done to history. And another lost Hero falls in with a gang of Irish gangsters with clues to his past. Jack Coleman, Dana Davis, James Kyson Lee, Adrian Pasdar, Zachary Quinto, Milo Ventimiglia also star. Nick D’Agosto, Katie Carr, Ashley Crow, Cristine Rose, Barry Shabaka Henley, Dominic Keating, Holt McCallany, Eriko Tamura, Adair Tishler and Stephen Tobolowsky guest star.

I've just heard word that a reliable source has spotted Adrian Pasdar on the Heroes set with—I hope you're sitting down for this—massive burn marks all over his face.

Thankfully, the burn marks are not real and have been applied via makeup, but the bad news is it's all part of some sort of new look for his character for the upcoming second season. (Most likely the remnants of Peter and Nathan going boom over the city in the season finale, one can suppose, though I honestly don't know.)

Heroes: Update!

This is regarding the previous spoiler of Nichelle Nichols joining the cast of Heroes in Season Two.

Showing up in the season's fourth episode, [Nichelle Nichols]'ll play Nana, a New Orleans doyenne whose daughter died during Hurricane Katrina. "Nana is tough and undaunted and - like the blues - she just keeps rising to the occasion," Nichols says.

The character, who is in dire financial straits, has moved back into her once-flooded home, where she cares for her two grandchildren. One of them, new hero Monica (The Nine's Dana Davis), is an avenging angel intent on bringing justice to the corruption-plagued Big Easy.

Nana is also a great-aunt to Micah, the junior hero played by series regular Noah Gray-Cabey. "Micah is sent to New Orleans to live with the family," Nichols says. "It's a quite marvelous, magical story, with wonderful things emerging." Source: TV Guide Online

Heroes Spoilers for Season Two!

The powers of new Heroes Maya (Dania Ramirez) and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) are connected. Dania told us this about her brother, "We need each other." We also hear that despite reports the fraternal twins are from the Dominican Republic, they're actually from Central America and will either be leaving from or at least passing through San Cristobal, Honduras.

Pilar in Montreal: Do you know anything more about David Anders' role on Heroes?

We asked Masi Oka, "Riddle me this. White guy from Oregon. How is [David Anders] a samurai-type in feudal Japan?" He answered, "You will find out in the first episode. And it's an answer that everyone will be happy about. Does he have any powers? Does he share any powers? We don't know. Is he white? Yes." Masi wins at life. Meg in Juneau, Alaska: How is Sylar going to fit into Heroes this season?

We talked to Greg Grunberg recently, and he had this to say: "We're still playing with some of the stuff from last year, but they've definitely introduced a new character, which I hope I have a big part in, that they alluded to last year. Remember, Molly said last year, 'Every time I think about him, he can see me; he's the bogeyman.' There's this character that is looming out there that's bigger and badder than Sylar, so it's going to be pretty crazy." I ran that by Sylar himself, Mr. Zachary Quinto, and he said, "There's definitely a dark new energy on the show, and it'll be interesting to see how Sylar fits into that."

Sharon in Peru, Maine: Do you know what's going on with the Petrelli brothers in season two?

I want my Petrelli action.So do we, so we asked Adrian Pasdar what was going on between Nathan and Peter, and we were sad when he told us, "Milo and I have not worked together in a long time..." Speaking of time, Jack Coleman tells us of the season premiere, "It's not a direct cut in time. We're four months in the future, and Hiro is 400 years in the past, but those timelines collide in a very dramatic way."

Alan in Pittsburgh: What's happening with my boy H.R.G. on season two of Heroes?

According to Jack Coleman, he's moved the family to somewhere in Southern California. He says, "Los Angeles would not be accurate, but not far off." He added, "Everyone survives, but the Bennets are a very dislocated but determined group that tries to make the best of it, but old ways and old ghosts quickly come into play very dramatically."

Monica in West Hollywood, California: Heroes, Heroes, Heroes!

There will be an upcoming storyline set in County Cork, Ireland. Separately, look for a dangerous new Francophone character named Sophie. She's the employee of a powerful, mysterious group, and she's "not afraid to use lethal force to accomplish her mission."
