Jack Bauer is getting more company for the next season of the FOX drama 24.
David Anders, who played Adam Monroe on Heroes, will be joining the cast of the hit drama.
Season eight of “24” takes place in New York City. The new season also brings new faces, including Freddie Prinze Jr. and Katee Sackhoff.
FOX is set to premiere the eighth season of 24 in January of 2010.

So what's David doing this season while Jack Bauer is hunting terrorists in New York, and how long will he be sticking around?
"He will be in a handful of episodes," says David's rep.
The rep was coy to say what his part would be, but when asked if David's new 24 character would go the way of Adam Monroe on Heroes, he laughed and said, "You never know."
