SPOILERS!

Lou in Scottsdale, Ariz.: What are you hearing about ABC's V?
Forget about hearing. We've seen the pilot, and on a scale of 1 to 10, we give it an 11. V is the best pilot we've seen in, well, forever. Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) is amazing. Scott Wolf (Party of Five) is adorable and charming. And you simply won't be able to take your eyes off Morena Baccarin (Firefly). It goes above and beyond expectations!
Virginia in Miami: Have you heard anything about the new sci-fi show that's supposed to come out in the fall, Flash Forward?
Don't be so quick to judge the show as being sci-fi. Flash Forward executive producer David Goyer says, "It's been interesting to see this show classified as a sci-fi show, and we keep saying, 'Is it? Really?' At one point I read someone's blog who said, 'Well, obviously aliens are the ones that caused the flash forward.' And I said, 'Really?' It's not necessarily even a sci-fi show."
Lorraine in the United Kingdom: Any chance of some Chloe-Oliver action on Smallville next season? I just love those two characters!
Sorry, no Chloe-Oliver gettin' together on Smallville this season, but they will continue to be awesome separately. We're hearing the big romance arc this season is Lois and Clark.
Eileen in Menlo Park, Calif.: Spill me some news on True Blood, especially about that gorgeous Jason Stackhouse.
True Blood star Ryan Kwanten tells us that Jason and his sister, Sookie, won't be separated forever: "There will be [a reunion between the Stackhouse siblings] and quite an electric one, too, where we gang up for the greater good."
Tim in Sarasota Springs, Fla.: When do we finally get to see this badass vampire Godric on True Blood?
We've been waiting patiently for this mysterious vampire-of-all-vampires too, and the wait is almost over. Godric (Allan Hyde) pops up in the July 19 episode, along with his lieutenants Stan (Eureka's Ed Quinn) and Isabel (Valerie Cruz). Valerie tells us, "Isabel runs with the Dallas vampires, but she kind of becomes friends with both Bill and Eric. And she likes Sookie. [Isabel] has a penchant for humans, and she's sensitive to this love story they have."
Lee in Terre Haute, Ind.: I need some True Blood info!
Carrie Preston, who plays Arlene, says, "The second-season finale is only two weeks after the end of the first season. Things get crazy in Bon Temps, Louisiana, I'll tell you that." Wait, Arlene doesn't die, does she? "Not so far!"
Jen in Wellsburg, W.V.: What's going on with Nate and Sophie on the upcoming season of Leverage?
We went directly to Nate himself, Timothy Hutton, for the scoop on this "office" romance. "Season two starts out with Nate and Sophie running into each other in kind of an interesting way that's been orchestrated by one of the five," the Oscar-winning actor told us. "And Nate learned something about Sophie's current life that he wasn't expecting, as it certainly impacts whether or not they're going to get together or not. By the seventh show of the second season, a lot gets determined about Sophie and Nate. It tracks in a rather interesting way." Fans of Nate and Maggie, however, shouldn't give up hope. The great Kari Matchett "is definitely going to be back," Tim said, and "we're going to be happy about that." So are we!
Tina in Australia: Anything new on Heroes?
We're increasingly certain that a beloved, original castmember is leaving Heroes for good before the end of the coming season. Care to guess who in the comments? As for the rest of the gang, Hayden Panettiere told MTV: "There's something called the Carnival, which is kind of the opposite of what the Company was." Oooh, so the Carnival is a place where freaks are welcome, à la that horrifying novel Geek Love? That could be interesting, but will a mainstream network show really be able to get all Flannery O'Connor grotesque? Would you want that if they dared? Our Pitch a Fix item is still open for your comments.
Jessica in Peshtigo, Wisc.: Will Lucifer on Supernatural swap out bodies like the rest of the demons, or will he be Pellegrino-shaped for most of the season?
We're told Lucifer will be entirely Pellegrino-shaped and that he'll recur throughout Supernatural season five. We're also hearing that Castiel has a major individual arc that coincides with the major arc for the season, and that's all we can share for now, but it sounds juicy, don't you think?

True Blood Spoilers!

Any scoop on summer scripted shows like "True Blood"? They seem to be dragging out Lafayette's fate. I guess the next episode we get somewhere finally? -kellek
Um, sort of. Seems to me Lafayette wasn't made a Vampire, since he will end up drinking Eric's blood in order to heal his wounds... but I'm still not super clear on the whole Vampire deal. Do Vamp's ever suck on each other for strength? What I know for sure is that Eric's blood brings our boy Lafayette back to fighting form. We'll see the happy-go-lucky guy we loved last season once again.
What's up with Eggs and Tara? Is it over? -Kate
Ha, oh hells no.
I love the idea of Hoyt and Jessica on "True Blood"! -P
Hoyt loves the idea too. Jessica's into it as well, but I don't think she's exactly a one man kind of vampiress... not just yet anyway.
Am I imagining the overwhelming sexual tension between Jason Stackhouse and the preacher's wife on "True Blood"? Is something going to happen with that? -Maria
No to the former. Yes to the latter. Keep watching, you're not waiting for nothing.
I read on Twitter that you weren't a big fan of last week's "True Blood" episode. It was a little disappointing compared to the first two. -Jan
No worries, they step it back up this coming Sunday...

Supernatural Episode Title & Casting Call!
SPOILERS!

Question: Will House recover from whatever it is that landed him in the psycho ward? --Catherine
Ausiello: You mean will he stop being crazy? "No," says Robert Sean Leonard. "It would be like Quincy suddenly getting nice and loving examining dead bodies. There are certain things that are just givens about the show, and one is the general makeup of House’s attitude and personality. He may stop hallucinating but he’d never stop being sarcastic." Adds series creator David Shore: "It depends on how we define better. That is the question. How sick is he? Does House want to get better? Can he get better? And how much better? And how much will the team be told and how will the dynamic shift with House away? Those are the questions we are going to deal with in the first bunch of episodes, and perhaps even the whole season to a certain extent."
Question: Is it true that Gregory Itzin will be back on 24 next season? --Arleen
Ausiello: That's false.
Question: Is it true that Claire on Heroes is going to have a romantic relationship with Rachel Melvin's new character, Annie? --Elizabeth
Ausiello: That's true. Kind of. I'm not sure about a full-blown relationship, but I can confirm that the college roomies will engage in a little Sapphic experimentation. At least that's the plan. Meanwhile, Hayden P. insists rumors that she tried to wiggle out of her Heroes contract at the end of the last season have been greatly exaggerated (i.e., all lies!) "I love my job and I love where I am," she maintains. "Heroes has been such a massive part of my life. I've been doing it for four years, and at times you get restless; I think anyone would in any job. But I love what I do. I love my job. I love my cast members. They're all my family. I don't pay attention to rumors like that. That's why they're called rumors. 'Cause they're rumors." Thanks for clearing that up!
Question: Will we see Mekhi Phifer and/or Jennifer Beals back on Lie to Me next season? Any other new faces coming on board?--Bernd
Ausiello: Mekhi has been promoted to a series regular, while Jennifer will continue to recur as Lightman's ex. As far as new blood goes, we'll meet Lightman's longtime rival, an on-camera expert in the same field.
Question: With regard to your 24 asterisk quiz in last week's Ask Ausiello, is it safe to say that Ethan will be promoted to Commander in Chief next season? --Neely
Ausiello: You'd be safer going with Secretary of State.
Question: Now that Drea de Matteo is on Desperate Housewives, what does that mean for her character on Sons of Anarchy? --Brandon
Ausiello: It means "she is not currently scheduled to appear in season 2," per an FX spokesperson. Speaking of season 2, it debuts Sept. 8.
Question: Heroes scoop please? --Justin?
Ausiello: Remember me telling you that producers were casting an 11-year-old version of Nathan? Well, thanks to Adrian Pasdar, now we know why! "I absorb a memory from an article of clothing that sends me back in time to when I was 11," he explains. "Something happened to young Nathan but old Nathan doesn't remember it. How can that be? It has to do with a character we have met before."
Question: I'm having Glee withdrawals! News, please? --James
Ausiello: I don't want to blow my whole Glee wad before the show even returns! Oh, who am I kidding, yes I do. MADtv's Michael Hitchcock -- yet another Christopher Guest alum -- will be appearing alongside Eve as the director of a different rival choir.
Question: Ever since the news of Callum Blue being cast as Zod on Smallville was reported, there is one question we are all dying to know: Was the "Mason" role, in fact, Zod? --C.B.
Ausiello: Yep, it sure was. Speaking of which, Justin Hartley doesn't think a Green Arrow-Zod face-off is in the cards next season. "I have the good sense in my head to let Clark deal with [him]," he says with a laugh. "I'll stick to dealing with the ladies. Why would I start something with that guy? That guy looks tall in photos. I don't need a piece of that guy."
Question: Could you kindly tell us Smallville fans what Season 9 will be about? --Colin
Ausiello: According to Justin Hartley, a portion of it will be about Oliver confronting his demons. "I think he is going to struggle with the things he has been afforded [as a result of] his powers," he says. "He has sacrificed things and done things that haunt him… It's bad stuff. We need to get to the bottom of it."
Question: Hey, did you hear the new Smurfs movie will be in 3-D?! Anyways do you have any more Lost scoop? --Erick
Ausiello: May's series finale is going to be a real downer, predicts Michael Emerson. "I don't think Lost will have a happy ending," he confessed to us at the Saturn Awards. "It's the end and I think we are going to start seeing more casualties. I would put money on major characters being killed. I believe it will be a sad ending to the show -- or at least bittersweet. I think it will definitely be a series finale for grownups." Emerson, meanwhile, is still trying to make sense of the season 5 finale. (Join the club!) "I killed Jacob... maybe... probably," he hedged. "It isn't like we haven't seen plenty of other people be killed and somehow come back. And what does it mean if I did kill him? I Who the hell was he anyway? Obviously, Ben wanted a father. So much of our show is about bad fathers. It is one of our biggest themes. And Jacob disappointed in those final moments. And maybe Jacob made it easy for him. Maybe that was all meant to happen. Is it all ordained? Maybe. And for that matter, can Jacob even be killed? Stay tuned is my response."

SPOILERS!

Will Kim Raver return to 24 since ABC didn't pick up her new show? — BrightEyez
MATT: I see where you're going with this. Since Season 8 is set in New York City, you're hoping Jack and Audrey will rendezvous, Sleepless in Seattle-style, atop the Empire State Building. Well, put a pin in that dream for now. For starters, you should be with me in wanting Jack with Renee, not Audrey. Beyond that, ABC's Inside the Box pilot is undergoing retooling/technically still in play, so Raver might not exactly be available. But one Kim you can plan on returning is Jack's daughter — sources tell me Elisha Cuthbert has filmed scenes for Day 8's first few hours.
I'm a big fan of Elizabeth Mitchell and can't wait for her to go back to Lost. Do you know when V's 13 episodes will finish shooting? Might Elizabeth be back only for the second half of Lost's final season? — Carry
MATT: Mitchell's V-Lost conflict is not one of just time but space, seeing as V shoots in Vancouver, 6 1/2 hours from Hawaii. That said, V starts production in early August, while Lost doesn't start up again until the end of that month. And now that we know that Lost's final season has been extended to be 18 hours, and there's a slightly better chance that Juliet will spend some QT with her Romeo, Sawyer.
I am super-excited (pun intended) about Brian Austin Green appearing on Smallville! Is there is any chance he will be on for more than two episodes? — Gabriela
MATT: At this juncture, BAG has been tagged for only the first two episodes of Season 9. But your query allows me to share this scooplet about Metallo's small-screen origin tale: The producers tell me that soon after mild-mannered John Corben begins his "Daily Planet" gig, "his fate takes a horrific twist that will change his destiny forever." Hmm, would that be Prof. Emmett Vale's cue?
Please tell me we'll see more of Jasika Nicole on Fringe this season. — Ryan
MICKEY: Telling people what they want to hear (even when it isn't true) hasn't ever really served me well. Just ask my mom... and my shrink... and my parole officer. They know. So I can't say that Astrid will be "crossing over" to bigger storylines in Season 2. And while the addition of a female FBI agent would appear not to bode well for Astrid, I'm told that she'll continue to play an important role on the Bishop-Dunham-Bishop World-Saving & Intramural Softball Team.
