Stargate Universe Casting Scoop!
Brad Wright, co-creator of SCI FI Channel's upcoming Stargate Universe, told Gateworld that Stargate SG-1 star Richard Dean Anderson ("Jack O'Neill") will guest-star on the new show. SG-1 cast member Gary Jones ("Walter Harriman"), meanwhile, told fans he would also appear in the new series.
"Rick is doing episodes of Universe," Wright told GateWorld. "He was just here yesterday shooting an episode of Universe with us. So that relationship is always ongoing, and it's good to have him back."
The show's fifth episode, "Earth," is currently filming and is likely one in which Anderson will appear.
For his part, Jones appeared on stage at Creation Entertainment's official Stargate convention in Vancouver, Canada, and told fans that he is appearing in an episode of Universe with Anderson. He said that Gen. O'Neill will have been promoted to three-star general for the episode they filmed together.
Jones added that he was asked to appear in the Universe premiere, "Air."
Stargate Universe—a spinoff of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis—follows the adventures of explorers who start off on a reconnaissance mission to the Destiny, a ship built by the Ancients, only to wind up on a never-ending mission when the crew learns the ship can't return to Earth.
Stargate Universe will premiere later this year and stars Robert Carlyle, Justin Louis, Brian J. Smith, Alaina Huffman, David Blue, Ming-Na and Lou Diamond Phillips.

Bones Schedule Scoop!
Things are looking up for "Bones" fans as the FOX spring schedule continues to be tweaked. The latest? FOX will double up on episodes next week, so not only will Booth and Brennan get their bedroom time, but it seems as though all of this season's planned hours could actually make it to air over the next month and a half, despite "Bones" losing time to "American Idol" last week.
How? Looks like the underperforming "Lie To Me" will take the hit, getting preempted in favor of "Bones" next Wednesday at 8 p.m. "Bones" will then air a second episode in its regularly scheduled timeslot, Thursday at 8 p.m.
As I reported in March, because of President Obama's prime time address last Tuesday, "Bones" was in danger of losing a whole hour of its season to accommodate "American Idol"'s schedule. An internal network lineup noted that FOX's tentative plan was to push "Bones"' season finale -- which includes the long awaited Booth and Brennan hook up -- to fall.
A week later, a new schedule surfaced, which indicated that though "Bones" would still lose an episode this season, the finale hour was no longer the one marked for postponement. Instead, they had axed ep 4.18 "Beaver in the Otter" (otherwise known on fan sites as ep 4.24, episode numbers are wonky this season due to several year 3 episodes being pushed last spring).
But FOX has once again rethought the situation, releasing a schedule this morning which notes that fans will get two new episodes of the series -- "The Cinderella in the Cardboard" to air 4/15 and "Mayhem on a Cross" to air 4/16 -- next week. And there is now a rumor that FOX will double up on episodes the week of April 20th as well.

MATT: When I asked Kiefer Sutherland about the nature of Kim's latest encore (slated for mid-April), he said, "Something has happened to Jack, and it's he who asks for her — normally it's the other away around." Kiefer went on to call the father-daughter reunion "very human and real ... a part of the show I'm excited for the audience to see." So your theory sounds about right. Just don't expect the now-married Kim to have Pony Boy at her side; her Season 5 romance apparently didn't take.
I really enjoyed Season 1 of Leverage, and I'm glad it's coming back so soon. Is it safe to assume the team's staying together? — Frank
TIM: Yes, they'll all be back for Season 2 (premiering in July), but with a bit of a role reversal. Instead of Nate holding the team together, his band of thieves will have to keep him from leaving. They'll also move their headquarters to his loft in Boston, and meet clients at the bar downstairs — which could be an issue. As you'll recall from Season 1, Nate is still struggling to get his drinking under control.
Did Lost's Sayid actually kill teenage Ben? If so, does that mean adult Ben will now "disappear"? — Connie
MATT: Already we have heard from Young Ben (aka Sterling Beaumon, full Q&A here) on the matter. Now, let's check in with Adult Ben's portrayer. "Although it appears that the situation is dire, it would be wrong to count Ben out," the deliciously cryptic Michael Emerson tells the Buzz. "Remember that the man we know as Ben has a destiny, and that a conventional life is insignificant when compared to the life of the Island."
Any scoop on Harper's Island? Have you seen the previews and was it any good? — Mary
MATT: Given my affinity for slasher films, the first hour of CBS' limited-run series met my expectations — right down to a pretty nifty (and grisly, for network TV) end-of-episode cleaving. For others interested in visiting the Island, I strongly suggest studying CBS' primer on each character/suspect before sitting down for the April 9 premiere, which is surprisingly light on heavy-handed exposition.
I heard there's going to be a suicide on House. Please tell me it's Thirteen! — Rose

House Casting Scoop!
Multiple Emmy winner Carl Reiner has been tapped to appear in House's fifth-season finale, according to the Los Angeles Times.
In the episode, entitled "Both Sides Now," Reiner (The Dick Van Dyke Show, the Ocean's 11 trilogy) will play a clinic patient Cuddy uses to get House's attention and force him to complete his clinic hours.Elsewhere in the finale, House treats a man whose left and right brain operate independently. The man lives with two different personalities and has no control over his actions, making treatment difficult. Cue some "alternative methods."
The season finale airs May 11 on Fox.
