Stargate Atlantis Finale News!

Kate Hewlett off-screen and on-screen sister of David Hewlett who plays Dr Rodney McKay on Stargate Atlantis gives some insight into the upcoming season four finale entitled, "The Last Man" here:

Robin Hood Venting!

Sorry, I just had to make a post if only to say how gravely dissapointed I am that BBC's Robin Hood killed off Marian in the season two finale "We Are Robin Hood". I thought for sure it was going to be the Sheriff. And although the entire broken hearted angsty Gisborne thing is always a cool aspect, I still am having big time trouble following the storyline that will follow after her death. They still had so much story they could have utilized her character with, not to mention the slowly and well performed humanization of Gisborne over the last season.

Am I the only one who is extremely dissapointed by this???

Smallville Episode Scoop!

Episode 7x15 "Veritas"
"Even though Clark and Lana have some bumps after the whole Bizarro thing, it sounds like they will still be in a relationship by season's end.

Kristin Kreuk has implied in a CW interview that the season ends on a cliffhanger, should things end with episode #15. The big cliffhangers, and the episode itself, deal more with the mythology of the series than the romantic relationships. There's a lot of big stuff on the way though..."

What's to Come in 2008!

Excerpts from E! Onlines Kristen and what to expect in the New Year for all the best shows:

New Amsterdam (Fox, Feb. 22):

Stop me if you've heard this before: The hero is a tall, dark and handsome immortal with a unique skill set that he uses to protect and defend the helpless and the innocent. While living in the shadows, he yearns for a genuine emotional connection, but true love and happiness remain a glimmering dream in the distance...It's not the most original concept in TV history, but you know what, maybe that's okay. Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is superhot, and the stories seem fun. The bad news? This show offers up a few wackadoodle scenarios that might make you giggle and/or remind you of stuff you just saw on Moonlight. Anyway, give it a shot and report back with your findings. This one could really go either way...

Kyle XY (ABC Family, Jan. 14):

The show's writers were able to complete all 10 of season two's remaining episodes, so fans won't be left hanging. Did Jessi survive her cliff dive? You'll find out soon enough. You'll also learn a whole lot more about Adam Baylin's past and Kyle's future. Word is, he'll finally tell the Tragers the truth about who he really is, and the family will do everything in their power to protect him from the evil Madacorp.

Jericho (CBS, Feb. 12):

Did you know broadcast television networks will let you have a whole show for the low, low price of 20 tons of legumes and tree nuts? It's true, and as such, the postapocalyptic drama Jericho has been magically resurrected after its ignominous cancellation in the spring of 2007. Back for seven all-new episodes, the show has shed Gerald McRaney and Pamela Reed as the parental units and reportedly features a stronger military angle and more engagement with the outside world. It should be the, uh, bomb.

Prison Break (Fox, Jan. 14):

Now that the strike caused 24 to get bumped from the schedule, the pretty boys of Prison Break are back...and still stuck in Panama. Things get worse before they get better (duh). Look for more of the nasty and brutish world of Sona, trouble for Sucre, more power for T-Bag, more hotness from Whistler and, as usual, a world of pain and mayhem for Michael and Linc.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Fox, Jan. 14):

Steeped in Terminator movie mythos while deftly updating the stories and introducing new characters, The Sarah Connor Chronicles might just be midseason's breakout new series. Half action-adventure, half family drama, Chronicles tells the tale of Sarah (Lena Headey), John (Thomas Dekker) and a pretty cyborg from 2027 sent back to help fight the future. Determined to bring down SkyNet—before, you know, it kills 3 billion people—the Connors (and their kooky, kickass robot friend—played by Summer Glau of kooky, kickass River Tam fame) struggle to maintain a facade of normalcy while periodically engaging in running gun battles with red-eyed fiends from the future. Very much a genre show, Terminator also manages a fair amount of sly humor and wry cultural commentary. Me likey.

Dexter (CBS, TBD):

Every dark cloud is supposed to have a silver lining, or so the saying goes. And in this dark time of the WGA strike, CBS president Les Moonves has a treat for all you basic-cable tubers who haven't yet discovered Showtime's Dexter. A drama about a Miami forensics expert who moonlights as a serial killer, this TV fare would ordinarily be considered a bit too cutting edge for network television. But with the looming holes in CBS' winter schedule, Dexter Morgan will likely slide into a plum prime-time slot. Please fight your urge to be scared off by the morbid premise. Once you get to know him, Dexter is, in fact, one of the most likable characters on the tube today.

Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi, March):

The fourth and final season of Battlestar Galactica premieres in March, with 13 episodes ready for air. This season centers on the final push toward Earth, and we'll learn some shocking truths about humanity and Cylonity. Roslin battles her resurgent cancer, Starbuck battles the crew's fears about disappearance, the newly identified Cylons try to figure out what the frak is going on, Six still has baby fever, Adm. Adama does his damnedest, as usual, to keep the ragtag fleet from falling apart—and it's all going to be frakking great.

Lost (ABC, Jan. 31):

Boy, they weren't kidding when they called the season-three finale "Through the Looking Glass." In the eight produced episodes of season four, the show begins to look back at the Island, and the survivors of Oceanic 815, from distant vantage points far removed in both time and space from the crash-era story. Meanwhile, rescue arrives, in the form of Not Penny's Boat, but seeing as how it's Lost, that's not all it's cracked up to be. This year's new crop of characters (following on the heels of the tailies and the Others) are the boaties, played by a crackerjack team of actors including Jeremy Davies, Rebecca Mader, Jeff Fahey and Ken Leung. Meanwhile, the newly possible flash-forwards will reveal shocking fates (not to mention some shocking allegiances) for the survivors. In the first few eps, look for lots of hostage situations, a division of the Losties between Team Jack and Team Locke, interrogations, lies (Ben) and a couple of shootings. Just another day on the beach!

Blood Ties Update!

Found this post over at the IMDB forums and found it encouraging for all Blood Ties fans like me that are waiting for renewal/cancellation news:

"It's really back and forth right now. The company that financially backed Blood Ties (CHUM) has split into two, and according to Denis McGrath (writer), they haven't decided which part is going to pay for the show, if either. And he doesn't think the moves Lifetime has made bode well for the show being picked up by them again. As mentioned though, there are other stations in other countries that could pick the show up. If the CHUM parts make up their mind I'd imagine they'd start shopping around for a new US network after that. Well, if they are smart they will since Lifetime hasn't exactly treated the show well.

On the other hand, over at Kyle Schmid Central, Kyle answered a fan's question about the show being canceled by saying not to get our hopes down just yet. So far the only actor that seems to have moved on is Gina Holden, but to my knowledge there isn't any word of Flash Gordon being picked up for another season, and her fan site says that she is booked till March. She's already said as well that she would love to come back to Blood Ties if they can work with her Flash Gordon schedule. And someone mentioned on the Blood Lines board that the actors skipped over pilot season in hopes that the show will be renewed. So yea, it could go either way. The popularity seems to be growing, and the show definitely has the support of the cast and crew, so who knows? Hopefully we will soon!"

Kutner asks if they can do secret santa.Later house decides that yes, they can do secret santa and writes everyones name and puts it in a stocking. Not a huge surprise that we come to find out he put his name on every paper.
He does this to cause tension within the new gang, once they all find out they all have house, what are they going to do? fight of course and fight they do.To up the stakes, house "finds" a wrapped gift on his desk and opens it in front of the crew, it's an iphone, and he loves it. later we learn he stole wilson's iphone to screw with his newbies.the newbies don't know what to do, they're not telling house they know, 13 says she's not getting a gift, but then sees taub give house a gift and is all pissed cause now she has to give house a gift. House enjoys all their infighting. 13 ends up giving him a record."

LOST Season 4 Official Press Release!

"With only 48 original episodes left until the final episode airs in 2010, this season truly is the beginning of the end with the promise of rescue at hand. Jack has radioed a freighter stationed somewhere off the island. But when it's disclosed that Charlie's dying warning was that these people may not be who they say they are, the castaways are split as to what to do. Jack is convinced that the freighter people are there to rescue them, while Locke is not. A division occurs among the survivors.

Who is on the freighter? What was the significance of the flash-forward showing Jack and Kate off the island at some point in the future? What will the consequences be when the characters once again encounter Michael, who seemingly escaped the island after murdering two of the survivors? These are some of the questions "Lost" will explore during the action-packed fourth season. The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must continue to work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive.

But as they have discovered during their 90-plus days on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.

"Lost" stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Michael Emerson as Ben, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet, Terry O'Quinn as Locke and Harold Perrineau as Michael."

Heroes Sneak Peek!

SPOILERS!!!

Latest from TV Guides' Ausiello:

Question: Did you see the new Season 4 Lost trailer?— Nathan
Ausiello: You mean trailers. There are two of 'em floating around. There's the mucho-revealing extended trailer, which features a first look at some of this season's new faces (Ken Leung among them). And then there's a shorter theatrical trailer, which is essentially a 30-second adrenaline rush with a few mystifying images thrown in for us to stew over. And stew we have.

Question: Tell me you've got some good scoop on Lost! — Lynn
Ausiello: I've got some good scoop on Lost! One of the more hotly debated/discussed shots in the theatrical trailer also happens to be the very first thing we see in the Jan. 31 season premiere. And if you think you've got the who/what/where/when of this mystifying image figured out, think again.

Question: Scoop on Lost?— Meghan
Ausiello: Remember a few weeks back when I told you that there would be at least one death on Lost in the first eight episodes? Better make that two. At least.

Question: Any scoop on Alan Ball's new HBO series True Blood? — Rebecca C.
Ausiello: Word around town is it's bloody brilliant. Unfortunately, it'll be a while before we can judge for ourselves considering the strike stopped production after the third episode. Instead, we'll have to make due with the cable net's promising-sounding five-times-a-week shrink drama In Treatment, which debuts Jan. 28 with an all-star cast that includes Gabriel Byrne, Josh Charles, Embeth Davidtz, Melissa George, Blair Underwood, Dianne Wiest and Michelle Forbes.
Question: What's the scoop on Moonlight? Is CBS going to renew it or what? — MLA
Ausiello: There's still nothing official, but all signs point to an imminent full-season order — or what qualifies as a full season these days. According to my spies inside CBS, the higher-ups at the Eye — entertainment president Nina Tassler in particular — believe the show has tremendous growth potential and that they have a genuine star in leading man Alex O'Loughlin. (Hmmm, ya think?) It also helps that the show is relatively cheap to produce and it's been consistently beating Women's Murder Club in young demos.
Question: I'm dying to know some scoop about Moonlight! — Jennifer
Ausiello: Well, I'm dying to give it to ya, babe! David Blue — aka Marc's uber-adorable BF on Ugly Betty — has snagged a two-episode arc as a vampire computer hacker/wizard who Mick uses when investigating cases. He first shows up in January and you'll never guess what his name is. C'mon, have a guess. Hint: It's a moniker near and dear to Veronica Mars fans, not to mention Moonlight costar Jason Dohring. [Crickets] Wow, you guys suck at this. It's Logan, for chrissakes.

Question: Can you please give your presumably youngest (13!) Aushole some Heroes scoop?— Chrissy
Ausiello: Sure, just promise not to tell August Miklos Friedrich Hermann. As many a hysterical Aushole has informed me in the past 72 hours, Heroes creator Tim Kring debuted a new Heroes trailer over the weekend at the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival of Los Angeles (huh?!), which features never-before-seen footage from Volume III, "Villains." (A wonky version of the trailer can be viewed here.) Where'd the footage come from, you ask? Well, it turns out that the show managed to shoot a bunch of scenes for Episodes 12 and 13 before production ground to a halt. But those episodes are incomplete and, therefore, can't air until the conflict is resolved. "Hopefully," says my spy, "the strike will end, they'll finish those two — and a few more — and have a proper end of the season."

Question: I just find out that Sam Jones III will be reprising his role as Pete Ross on Smallville. Is this a one-time thing or will it be an arc? — Tabitha
Ausiello: For now, it's just a one-time thing.

Question: I can't wait until February — I need Jericho scoop! I know Jake and Emily are supposed to be paired off in the season premiere, but is there any hope for Heather and Jake? — Jessica
Ausiello: Here's what exec producer Carol Barbee told me over the summer regarding the Heather/Jake/Emily triangle: "Heather comes back to town to find Jake and Emily together. And she gets a possible new love interest. But there's still a pull between her and Jake that ends up working into the story."

Latest from E!'s Kristen:

Vero in Budapest, Hungary: I'm so Lost in this long hiatus...Any news on Jack and Juliet?

Just that the two good doctors are still hanging out. In fact, remember those teams I told you about last week? Well, Juliet's on Team Jack, along with one other Lostie lady. Guesses on who she is?

Elo in St. Pierre, Réunion Island: Is a Sawyer and Kate baby on the way? Please, please tell me!

In honor of what is no doubt our first-ever question from Réunion Island—11,000 miles away, somewhere near Mauritius and Madagascar in the Indian Ocean!—I can tell you I used to think it was pretty unlikely, but based on what I now know about season four, it's seeming somewhat more probable. That's honestly just a guess/hunch, but I'd put some money (at least a nickel) on it. Anyone care to counter-wager? Propose a baby name?

Stephanie in West Chester, Ohio: You keep mentioning a cliffhanger and a person physically ill on Bones. I can't figure out either! Help!

I didn't say he or she was ill.

David in San Francisco: You never talk about it, but any chance you're holding out on any Stargate: Atlantis scoop?

Uh...gonna hafta throw this one to Jen's little brother, Mark, who never misses an ep and has already seen the next two. He tells you fellow fans, "Col. Carter is great as the new leader of Atlantis. She chews out a ship captain for talking down to one of her crew. She does a great job of playing on the strong yet still feminine. I think she is better in the role than Weir. But the former leader of Atlantis, Weir, now looks like she is in control of a faction of the replicators even though the Atlantis team believes they have destroyed all replicators." So, that's bad...right?

Terry in St. Paul, Minnesota: How will the writers' strike affect the Sci Fi shows, like Battlestar Galactica and Flash Gordon? With all the postproduction needed, how far along in scripts/filming are they?

Battlestar will have 14 episodes finished when season four premieres in March, and the Flash Gordon writers managed to finish the last three scripts of the season in the final four days before the strike hit. By the way, you Eric Johnson fans might be interested to know that in episode 19 he strips down to his boxers (which have little rocket ships on them—ha!) and oils himself up for a battle with an Audrey. You'll see.

LOST Info!!

Thanks to Darkufo, this is the spoilery summation of important info from the commentary on the episode "The Man Behind the Curtain" on the newly released LOST season 3 DVD's.

* Horace Goodspeed and Olivia are important to the DHARMA story, and we can expect to see more of them in the future.

* Richard Alpert was conceived as the "Panchen Lama" of the Others. (That would make Ben the "Dalai Lama.") Alpert's role is to pick the next Dalai. Ben's role would be to pick the next Panchen, should the need arise. This keeps the two in a sort of balanced power relationship. They are allies, yet they have some measure of control over the other should one get out of hand.

* Ben uses the volcanic ash circle to contain Jacob. Jacob also has the means to control Ben to an extent.

* Speaking of volcanoes, there is one on the island. Damon says it will be of "seismic importance" (pun very much intended.)

* The Looking Glass Station is a communications station. Its role is to emit the ping that guides the submarine to the island.

* The DHARMA purge was not the first purge by the Others. There have been many groups on the island, and the Others have purged many times before. Remnants of all the groups make up the Others we see today. Damon likens this to the United States, which is a nation of immigrants from many cultures who have assimilated into a common culture.

* Ben set Locke up to kill Cooper as a test...he was certain Locke would fail as he has not shown himself to be capable of murder. There is probably no great mythological reason for killing one's father; Alpert helps Locke find a way to kill Cooper because it is the only way to break Ben's manipulation.

* Damon suggests that Ben's penchant for numbering his rabbits "probably has something to do with fertility experiments."

* Room 23 is located on the Hydra island, which is designated for zoological experiments. Has it only been used on humans, or was it previously used on other animals? And if so, what animals? (Calling all Joop fans!)

* Annie is an extremely important part of the island's backstory, and it is a planned chapter to come. Annie is more important than the Goodspeeds or the volcano.

* The mechanism for the purge at the Barracks was different from the mechanism Ben uses in the van (the canister of gas). The gas canister was added in post-production to give Ben a more active role in his father's death. But the original plan was for something to happen more or less island wide at 4 PM.

* We have not seen Ben's motivation for his role in the purge, but we will.

Blood Ties to Return?

Another note of rumor I'm hearing today, is that Lifetime's decision to renew Blood Ties or not will be announced tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!!

Robin Hood Death!!

So I've been reading rumors and speculation that apparently one of the main cast of BBC's Robin Hood dies in this years finale. Though there's been much talk about who it may be, these are the names I keep seeing as the possible contenders:

-Guy
-Allan
-The Sheriff

(Personally, I think it will be the Sheriff, this way maybe Season Three will bring forth Prince John as the new villain in charge.)
Leave a comment with who your guess is, and with the lack of info, I'd say besides Robin, any guess is as good as the next.
